Dairy free chocolate covered strawberries on a plate

When you are in a hurry to come up with a dessert that is easy, quick, dairy free and does not require many ingredients. This is it - Allergy Friendly Chocolate Covered Strawberries with just 4 ingredients.

Depending on the method you use to melt the chocolate, this dessert can be done in less than 15 minutes. You can either melt the chocolate on a stove or in microwave. Just use your favorite dairy free chocolate chip brand and butter.

1/2 cup dairy free chocolate chips

1/2 tablespoon dairy free butter

15 strawberries

Wash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds.

Add the chocolate chips and butter in a microwave safe bowl. Place in the microwave and cook on high heat for 15 seconds. Take out and stir with a spoon, if there are still chunks of chocolate repeat the process but reduce the cooking time to 5 seconds. Once done stir with the spoon to blend well.

Meanwhile, wash and dry the strawberries. On a plate or a tray place either parchment paper or plastic wrap to prevent the strawberries from sticking to it.

Once the chocolate has been melted take a strawberry and dip it in the mixture then place it on the prepared plate. Repeat with all the strawberries. Once done place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to set the chocolate.
